Marian and I wish to extend our sincere thanks to you and the entire staff of the Killarney Great Southern for the tremendous support and hospitality you have given to the meeting. The feedback we have had from attendees has been fantastic. For many people, this was their first visit to Ireland – I have no doubt that many will return after this marvelous experience. The day trips out were perfect – all those that did the Ring of Kerry tour spoke very enthusiastically about it and the positive feedback on the boat and jaunting car trip was brilliant – Dermot O’Donoghue and his men did a great job. As for the entertainment, Kelly McDonnell put on the most spectacular of shows – we have been inundated with people telling us that this was the finest and most professional entertainment of any RD meeting they have ever been to – even at breakfast this morning, a line of people wanted to express their delight. We will return many times to the Killarney Great Southern and will spread the word about the marvelous week all at the symposium enjoyed and what a marvelous venue this has been for an international meeting.

Just a word of thanks to you and all the staff for a great Conference. Our choice of venue of The Malton Killarney proved to be a great decision, the facilities were just first class but it was the food, staff, service and just the no problem approach-can do, to our ongoing demands that proved to be the real winner. We all know that this is not easy to achieve but from our point of view it was just seamless experience.
Ye have in place a diversity of personalities within the staff, which is good and yet there is a clear unity of purpose in how they go about providing a top class service. Please pass our sincere thanks to each and everyone of the staff, the all ladies office staff, those that we meet out front of house, and those who are often the unseen but vital cogs behind the scenes, back of house. we arrived at the Hotel, last autumn on our first visit and you gave us a most warm greeting and then set about in a most professional way to sell the Hotel, planting the thought that ye should be number one on our list for consideration. Since the day it was decided to hold GRA Conference 2016 in The Malton Killarney you have always worked with us, made all of our decisions along the way easy.
For all of that and especially for your no problem- leave it with me approach, throughout Conference, even though we knew when asking that often our requests were unreasonable, would like to express a personnel sincere thanks, as indeed everything overall was just about perfect.
Irish Hospitality Industry Charity ClimbWhat a weekend and without a doubt it was down to all the arrangements made with The Malton Team. Elaine, I would like to mention in particular,we had been arranging this event since last year so I wanted to note a particular thanks to her directly. She is the essence of hospitality and perfect host. The arrangements made were all agreed but carried out to perfection so sincere thanks for that.
The team at The Malton from start to finish on arrival couldn’t do enough for me. I am extremely grateful to all and note Annette at reception, Gary who was my god send on Saturday evening in particular his assistance to get out slide show down in time he was a genius. The team at concierge were only too willing to assist and also Mary the Trojan worker to get all our packs to all the rooms. Paul on the Saturday night the dinner was amazing food excellent and made the night so special with the private dining room. The climb was over 8 hours thankfully this year we didn’t keep the bar staff up to late unlike other years most were so exhausted it was a nice chance to just get to chill out and enjoy the company of all climbers.
So all in all what can I say it was an experience to cherish for life and Elaine and the team at Malton made it come true. I am so pleased that on the basis that all my guest's are involved in the hospitality industry that they got to experience Malton and the hospitality you provided. Rest assure I will be down again.
Circuit Deja VuI have been organising international medical congresses in 5 star hotels around the world for over 35 years and our recent Circuit of Ireland International Rally reunion in The Malton Hotel was a huge success. This was due to the very high standards set by the hotel and its well trained staff. Excellent friendly service, superb food served quickly and without fuss for over 300 people at the banquets and a "how can we help" attitude made this event a pleasure for us as organisers. On top of this, the superb spacious and well equipped conference facilities made The Malton an ideal venue.
Epilepsy IrelandOn behalf of Epilepsy Ireland, I would like to thank The Malton and your staff so much for everything you did to make our conference such a great success. We were really delighted with the conference as a whole, and with the hotels’ fantastic service to all our delegates and staff. Engineers IrelandHaving organised conferences in many venues around Ireland I was impressed with the support from Elaine and the team at The Malton when we were planning for our event. Once we were on site, no request was too difficult. The staff were efficient, helpful and really couldn’t do enough to accommodate our delegates.

Musgraves Golf, Fishing & Social EventI am writing to thank you on behalf of both myself and the team in Musgraves for looking after ourselves and our guests during our recent return to Killarney and The Malton for the Musgrave Golf, Fishing and Social Outing.The feedback which I received both from the Musgrave directors & staff as well as retailers and their guests has been fantastic. All were very complimentary from the warm welcome on arrival, right through their stay including the quality of their meals and service. The dinner on the Tuesday night was a high point and the subject of very many positive accolades with the beef being the star, aswell as the excellent service for the meal itself and the buffes. Please convey a special thanks to Will and the kitchen staff aswell as the dining staff. Thank you for that and for the personal attention, together with the team and especially Elaine, you gave to the event. It was both valued and appreciated.
MCI - Europarcs ConferenceI just wanted to say thank you to the team for everything in the lead up to and while onsite for EUROPARC. I have never received such positive feedback from clients and delegates about a conference before and the flexibility and constant cheerfulness of your team made my time in Killarney very pleasant. Nothing was ever a problem and everything was done with a smile. We were well looked after between Michele, Emer, Paul, Andrew, Arthur (and his team), Mike, Sean, Bjorn…. Emergency Medical Services GatheringThe Malton Hotel is a superb choice as an event location and this is the reason why we returned with our EMS Gathering for a 2nd year in a row in May 2014. The top class facilities in a beautiful location along with the very competitive prices are some of the reasons we choose to bring our conference to The Malton Hotel. Our 300 delegates who were national and international healthcare professionals along with our industry exhibitors were very impressed and we have received tremendous feedback overall. We certainly had plenty of demands as we had a wide variety of components to our conference but these were all met with a pleasant 'no problem' approach. But the element that stands out for me the most are the staff who are extremely efficient, helpful and friendly and this in turn added hugely to our delegates enjoying a top class event. I have no hesitation in recommending The Malton Hotel as a conference venue and EMS Gathering will not be looking any further than here for future events.
Association of Garda Sergeants and InspectorsThis year marked the 36th Annual Delegate Conference of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI). We had the great fortune of choosing The Malton in Killarney as our venue. I have attended 12 Conferences in my role as Secretary of the Association and can honestly say that The Malton is very hard to find any criticism. The staff at all levels are expert in their roles, courteous and polite at all times and in all circumstances. The standards set by the event and managerial staff at The Malton were very impressive from the first meeting and that professionalism continued to be very evident through all our interactions with the hotel. Many meetings and discussions were held prior to the event and a couple of site visits completed arrangements. Many of our 200 guests and delegates commented favourably on The Malton and a desire was expressed that we should have our Conference there from now on. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Malton for your conference or meeting. If you are lucky enough to manage a leisure trip to Killarney, drop in and meet Elaine and the team. You will have no doubts as to their ability to organise and run a very professional conference for you.
Irish Society of GastroenterologyFrom the outset thank you and your colleagues for a wonderful meeting. The conference centre as I expected was excellent, very flexible in its configuration and in excellent condition & very user friendly. The food was superb right through. Breakfast and setting terrific, lunches went down a treat and Gala dinner was really enjoyable. I am saving the best for last regarding the staff. I think that good staff makes the difference between a good hotel and a very good one. In your case the latter is definitely the case. In summary thank you for a wonderful experience. The feedback has been extremely positive and remember that while Iarnród Éireann(Irish Rail) does not usually do door to door, in your case they make an exception which is a marvellous feature.

The thoughtfulness and the "no job was too big" approach from everyone meant the conference went without hitch and reduced my stress levels considerably. Advantage ICOKillarney and the Malton Hotel together with its sister properties the Killarney Park and Ross Hotels offered the perfect location to host a prestigious, high profile event for 600 delegates. The program had to be balanced to cater for the significant numbers of overseas delegates who were expecting the very best of Irish culture while at the same time meeting the needs of the participants whose home is Ireland. We were delighted at the cooperation we received from the Malton to achieve this objective. Nothing fazed them, even when we asked to erect a 1200 sq. metre marquee in their gardens!
