Enjoy a family Halloween break at Great Southern Killarney this midterm break. Our Victorian mansion is the perfect backdrop for a Halloween family break, beautifully decorated for the season, with lots of activities to keep junior family members entertained and allowing grown-ups to enjoy some child-free time. For all the details of our super (and not too) spooky kids club, please click here. To view our Halloween Family Fun offers please click here.
Great Southern Killarney’s Family Fun programme will run from Saturday 24th October until Sunday 1st November with lots of Halloween themed activities to keep the little ones entertained including treasure hunts, (not so) scary movie nights in our cinema room, the Great Southern Killarney Eyeball & Spoon race and lots of Halloween party games. Our playroom is supervised from 1pm - 9pm each day allowing adults a little free time. Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult.
While we can’t guarantee the dry weather when the day is dry our guests can explore our 6 acres of gardens. We also have an outdoor children’s playground and tennis courts so remember to bring the jackets and the scarfs. For days when the weather isn’t ideal head to the Innisfallen Leisure Centre and enjoy our 15m swimming pool.
The Great Southern has everything to please the whole family under one roof. Our 2 and 3 day Halloween Family Packages are available from Saturday 24th October until Sunday 1st November. We look forward to welcoming all the family to the Great Southern. To view our Halloween Kerry Cubs Kids Club programme please click here.
Covid Control Measures and the Kerry Cubs Kids Club
At Kerry Cubs Kids Club we want all our Junior Guests to have fun while ensuring the safest possible environment for all. We know that you will be happy and confident to know that we have taken every precaution to comply with all regulations to limit the spread of COVID 19 and we wish to thank you in advance for your co-operation in the process:
All children must quarantine for 14 days before coming to the hotel if they are coming from a country that is not on the green list – click here for details.
All children will have a temperature check prior to entering the Kids Club each day and should they display any signs of sickness while at the club.
All children and guardians must sanitise their hands on arrival to Kids Club and on a regular basis during their stay.
All those over the age of 12 years are required to wear a face covering when collecting and dropping off children and when interacting with the Kids Club helpers.
Any child that is running a temperature or is visibly sick will not be able to attend the Kids Club.
A time limit of 90 minutes per child per day will be set based on demand to facilitate as many children as is safely possible.
Places are limited and once the maximum number of children are in the club, we will not be able to admit additional children until a child vacates, however a member of staff will take the parent/guardian’s phone number for a waitlist.
A supervised isolation space will be provided for any children displaying signs of sickness and their parent/guardian will be required to collect them.
Prior to your child being admitted to the Kids Club, you will be required to answer a questionnaire on your child’s health and provide a declaration signature. Based on the answers provided, your child will be admitted or may be ineligible to join the Kids Club. Please contact us if you would like a copy of the questions in advance of arrival.
Your details will be held for contact tracing for a period of 1 month.
We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones this Halloween.
